This website is operated by Harrington Property Services of Unit 1, Chartwell Business Park, 61–65 Paulet Road, Camberwell, London SE5 9HW. For anything to do with your information, email info@harringtonpropertyservices.co.uk or ring 020 7205 4188.

If you send us an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the service you asked about and anything you write in the message. If you give us an email address we collect that too. We use it for one thing: replying to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, doing the work.

The form also reads the IP address your request arrives from. It is used only to count how many enquiries have come from one place in the last ten minutes, so the form cannot be used to flood our inbox. It is not stored with your enquiry and it is not written to a database.

We do not sell your details, we do not pass them to third parties for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked us to price a roof.

For replying to an enquiry, the basis is legitimate interests — you asked us to get in touch, so we do. If you become a customer, the basis for the work itself is performance of a contract. We keep records of completed jobs because tax law and our guarantee both require it.

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. Records of completed work are kept for six years, which is the period HMRC requires and roughly the period over which a guarantee question might arise.

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Enquiry emails are delivered by Resend, whose servers are in the United States, so sending the form transfers what you wrote outside the UK — Resend is covered by the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which is the safeguard that permits it. Both process the data on our instructions and neither uses it for anything else. If you would rather not have your enquiry leave the UK, ring us instead and nothing is transferred.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits on WhatsApp's systems under their terms, not ours.

This site sets no cookies at all and runs no analytics. There is no tracking script on any page, nothing is loaded from another company's servers, and nothing about your visit is recorded or shared. The one thing kept in your browser is whether you have switched motion off, which stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email us and we will deal with it within one month at the outside, usually much sooner.
